I believe that many friends, especially on-campus students, tend to use sogou browsers to access the Internet. Because sogou has a built-in full-network acceleration function, it is very fast and convenient to access public and foreign websites. However, in CERNET, browsers outside sogou are used (such as IE, chrome, and the world), or other applications need to be connected to the Internet (for example, anti-virus software updates the virus library, QQ login, thunder download, etc.), the network access speed is very slow, sometimes even cannot connect. Here we recommend a very clever solution, that is, to use the sogou browser's proxy server (127.0.0.1: 8081) to speed up the Internet of your applications.
In fact, the principle of full-network acceleration of sogou browser is that a proxy server is mapped to the local port 8081. The sogou installation directory contains an at1.dllfile. If you use processxp, you can see that the TCP/IP address in sougouexplorer.exe contains a listening port of 127.0.0.1: 8081, which is the local proxy used by sogou. The acceleration of sogou is to create a new sub-process (two sougouexplorer.exe can be seen in the Task Manager), which is used by the proxy. After the sub-process is opened, the sogou browser creates a proxy on the local port 8081. Then, when we use the sogou browser, the system will use this proxy to access the Internet. After understanding this principle, we can use this feature of the sogou browser to accelerate other browsers! (Another use is to configure the TOR to access the Internet. For details, refer to "using t.o. R. To access YouTube on the campus network".)
Method 1:
The simplest, but most inconvenient way is to keep the sogou browser open and enable its full-network acceleration function. Then, set the proxy server address of the browser you want to use to "127.0.0.1", set the port to "8081", and support HTTPS and HTTP. Then, your browser is very fast. (This can be done directly in Internet Options of IE-connection-LAN Settings, regardless of the world, roaming, or chrome with IE as the kernel)
However, this method has a very obvious disadvantage, that is, the sogou must be enabled. Although everyone has a large memory, how can this problem be solved. So there is a second method.
Method 2:
First, set the proxy server of the browser or other applications to 127.0.0.1: 8081.
Create a shortcut pointing to sogouexplorer.exe-proxy on the desktop.
For example, I am pointing to "E:/program files/sogouexplorer/sogouexplore.exe"-proxy (pay attention to the location of double quotation marks. For detailed illustration, see [3])
Double-click this shortcut twice in a row, and the proxy server is started to enjoy full-network acceleration!
