Use the into clause to create a new table

The into clause can automatically create a new table and add records in the query result set to the table. The columns of the new table are determined by the target columns in the select clause. If the new table name starts with #, as shown in the preceding figure, the new table is a temporary table, and the new table without # is a permanent table.
