Use the Registry to change the default location of my documents to prevent data loss caused by system reinstallation.

If you modify the default location of "My documents", "favorites", etc. Open Registry: Start-run-Regedit-OK.

Key registry key to be modified (the same value in the two items should be modified at the same time)

1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ User Shell Folders

2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Shell Folders
