Here is a question: Xmonad is a little tragic in the LTS version of Ubuntu 12.04. xmonad does not seem to keep pace with ubuntu. It is not very friendly to the wm version of unity and cannot be used in xmonad after installation.

This is my solution. It is simple and rude and straightforward:

Apt-get install gnome-panel

Reboot: Get it done. Install a dmenu again. alt + p to start the application quickly. I think this is necessary. Of course, there are other options besides dmenu, I have installed it on the official website. It is good to use. It should be noted that, if you do not install Fast startup software such as dmenu, when you start a graphic application like a browser, you are miserable, because you have to start it by using commands, so that the graphic application is successfully started, but your terminal is also suspended, it indicates that this should not happen on xmonad.

For fast start software like dmenu, launchy is available on Windows, and there are many other programs... It's not bad to use.

As shown in the following figure, Xmonad installed on a virtual machine can be quickly switched at a glance, or a Window can be maximized or sorted freely. Isn't one screen enough? Alt + 1 ~ 9 A total of 9 for your use ...... of course, the multi-screen is even better.
