Source: Internet
Author: User

The company's development team needs a shared area to store some files. So we opened a samba service on the server.

Install

Sudo apt-Get install Samba smbfs

Create a shared directory

Mkdir/opt/data/pub

Chmod 777/opt/data/pub

Configure the samba Service

Vim/etc/samba/smb. conf

Add the following content

[Pub]

Path =/opt/data/pub

Writeable = Yes

Browseable = Yes

Guest OK = Yes

Create mask = 0664

Directory mask = 0755

# Valid users = root, zzf

Save and execute

/Etc/init. d/samba restart

In this way, people in the LAN can access (if the Samba server address is 192.168.0.1, you can access // 192.168.0.1/pub)
