Use Ubuntu10.04 to develop Flex

Designing a view is not important to me. Therefore, you have decided to go to Ubuntu for development. Development tools use eclipse + flex builder for linux alpha 5.

1. install eclipse in Ubuntu 10.04

Sudo apt-get install eclipse

2. install flex builder for linx alpha 5

Download from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flexbuilder_linux.html

Run the installation on the terminal and change the default installation directory to/usr/lib/or/home/$ usrname/app. Enjoy it!

It is said that Adobe Team feels that the linux version of fb is rarely used, and it seems that it has decided to give up development, or how the release of the version is slow. If Adobe does not do this, I think the open-source community will develop a Linux fdt.

Update:

Use Ubuntu 10.04 source list to install eclipse 3.5 + in the preceding method. This version is currently not supported by flex builder linux, when you use MXML Editor to edit mxml code, a java Asset Error occurs. Solution: Download/install eclipse 3.3. It is said that someone has made a patch suitable for eclipse 3.4, but it is not necessary.
