Use virtual disk to hide files on Win7

To Win7 using virtual disk to hide files, I just Win7 in the verification. Other models are unknown.

First, create a virtual disk

1. Right click on "Computer"-----"Manage"------"Disk Management"-----"action"------"Create VHD"

2. Click "Browse" to select the location where the virtual disk file is saved. Fill in the file name

3. Set the virtual hard disk size. We take 300M as an example.

4. A new disk is now appearing on the Disk Management interface. Like any other disk. to initialize before using. Right-click the disk. Select "Initialize Disk" to determine the form point that pops up.

5. The following new volume

Right-click the blank space on this disk. Select "New Simple Volume"

In the popup form always point to "next". The last point is complete. At this point, the virtual disk is created successfully. Open the computer to see that the new Volume G is what we just created.

Second, let the disk you just created is not visible in the computer

Or, right-click Computer---Manage---Disk Management, right-click on the disk you just created, and select Offline. If you turn on the computer again, you will see that the disk G is not visible.

Third, the above way although double-click the computer can not see that disk. But you can still see it in Computer Management. And the display status is offline.

So is there a way to hide it more thoroughly? There is a way.

Right-click on the disk you just created and select Detach VHD.

The form point that pops up is determined. Note Delete the disk after deleting the virtual hard disk file before the Select box is not selected. Don't choose! This is only important when you decide to delete this disk.

All right. Now we can't see this disk in the Computer Management form.

You want to display the disk again. Click on the "action"---"Attach vhd" in the Computer Management form. In the pop-up form point "Browse", select the file that you saved when you created the virtual disk.

The enhanced version, you can also use BitLocker encryption.

Right-click the disk and select Enable BitLocker.
