I plan to play RAC on the virtual machine, Google a pass, found that most of the information is based on this post (http://www.itpub.net/thread-1009235-1-1.html), using VMware Server to create bare device-based shared storage, oracle official information (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/rac.102/b28759/toc.htm) is also using bare devices to create shared storage.
However, using vmware workstation can also successfully build a 10g RAC environment. shared storage can be solved using NFS. refer to the following article:

Since the installation steps in the above article have been detailed, I will not repeat them any more. The following are some software versions I have installed successfully:
HOST: Windows Server 2003 sp2
Soft: VMware Workstation 7.0.0 build-203739
Guest: RHEL4 as u7 (here I have created three virtual machines, one NFS server: nas1, two RAC nodes: Rac1, rac2)
DB: 10201_clusterware_linux32.zip, 10201_database_linux32.zip
