WinRAR supports decompression of the 7z package, but does not support decompression of the 7z file. If you use WinRAR to open the 7z file, an error is returned.
The original cause is that the 7z file is actually a large file, such as abc.7z, which is directly cut into multiple file shards:
Abc.7z. 001
Abc.7z. 002
...
Abc.7z. 010
You can use the copy command in DOS to merge the split files and decompress them. The method is to enter dos, type: copy/B volume file name .*
The file name .7z.
Method: Now, in cmd (command prompt), use the copy command to merge the 7z volume compressed files.
First, put all the 7z volume files to be merged in one folder. In a vista or above system, press shift in the folder where the 7z volume file is located and right-click. In the dialog box that appears
In the dialog box, select [open command window here] To Go To cmd. If Windows XP and the following systems use win + R to Enter cmd, run the CD command to enter the folder where the 7z compressed package is located. Example
For example, if the 7z volume file is in the D: \ XXX \ YYY \ ZZZ folder, enter: CD/d: \ XXX \ YYY \ zzz.
Press enter to enter the folder where the package is located.
Run the following command: copy/B abc.7z. * abc.7z
Merge all the split files into a large 7z compressed file and decompress it with WinRAR or WinZip.
PS: B indicates a binary file. The file name is the actual 7z file. Generally, xxxxx.001, xxxxx.002,
Xxxxx.003. The extracted file name can be any one.
"*" In the command indicates all. CMD will automatically help you search for all existing volume-sharing files in this folder.
