Use X-shell on win10 to connect to Ubuntu in a virtual machine

1. In Ubuntu, install SSH:

sudo apt-get update # to complete system updates

cd/etc/init.d/# See if SSH service is installed

sudo apt-get install Openssh-server # for installation

sudo etc/init.d/ssh Restart # Restart service, others are: Restart/open/start

Ifconfig View Ubuntu IP address

ENP0S3: inet addr:192.168.1.103 is the desired address

2. Connect the Shh in the X-shell

Cmd> ipconfig view IPv4 address: 192.168.1.101

If you are not on the same network segment as the Ubuntu address above, you need to select the same network card in the virtual machine settings-Networks-select Bridge-Nic.

Create a new connection, enter the Ubuntu address, enter USER+PSWD, and complete the connection.
