Use yum to download RPM packages without installation

1. Install yum-downloadonly, yum-utils, or yum-plugin-downloadonly packages

#yum Install Yum-downloadonly

After the installation is complete, review the contents of the/etc/yum/pluginconf.d/downloadonly.conf configuration file to confirm that the plugin is enabled:

[Main] Enabled=1

　　

2. For example, download the Ricci package from the Yum source

# yum Install--downloadonly Ricci

The location where the default download is saved is the/var/cache/yum/{repositoryname}/packages/directory. You can use the Yum parameter--downloaddir to specify a custom path. Used with the--downloadonly parameter.

# yum Install--downloadonly--downloaddir=/download Ricci
