To create an account:

Manual creation,

1. Add a record to/etc/passwd

2. Create a user home directory

3. Set the default configuration file in the user's home directory

4. Set User initial password

Command creation,

Useradd or AddUser command creation

To delete a user:

Userdel + username. (But the user's home directory is not deleted)

change user name: Usermod-l newusername oldusername (only the login name has changed, the home directory is unchanged)

Lock User: Usermod-l user name (user will not be able to log in)

Unlock User: Usermod-u user name

Deactivate account: Add # to the/etc/passwd user's line and comment it out.

/etc/skel/the role of the directory: in the creation of the user's home directory, the directory will be copied files under the home directory
