First, the introduction
With the advent of computer LAN and WAN, the quality of network products (including hardware and software) has been improved continuously, the variety and quantity are rapidly increasing and developing, and the maturity of database technology and the development of software engineering methods are becoming more and more perfect for various computer network management systems. The computer ticketing system of tourist attractions is the product of the combination of computer technology and network technique. Convenient and quick query statistics enable managers to accurately grasp the operation of scenic spots and to supervise, manage and provide accurate and credible decision basis for them. Its success has improved the ticketing efficiency and management level of tourist attractions, and has put an end to the situation of artificial ticketing, thus entering the new stage of intelligent ticketing.
This article describes the development of a computer ticketing system for a tourist attraction in Windows NT 4.0, which is run in the background by Delphi as the development language for Microsoft SQL Server 6.5. The system is suitable for the automatic management of the ticketing system of the large, medium and small tourist attractions, and has a strong practical application value.
Second, the system overall plan design
The computer ticketing system uses the star topology LAN structure, which consists of servers, hubs, computers and printers, as shown in Figure 1. Server running database and system management procedures, to achieve query, statistics, report printing, system maintenance and other functions. Each ticket computer and the corresponding printer placed in the ticket window, the operation of ticket sales procedures, the completion of interface input, ticket printing and the conductor's personal information query statistics and other functions.
For ticketing systems, the speed of the printer and the transmission speed of the data over the network are the key indicators. such as the Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park in its peak, every day about 20,000 people into the Garden tour, requiring the use of three computers for ticketing, and the admission of most of the guests concentrated in the same period of time, such as the morning just opening to around 10 o'clock in the morning, 2 o'clock in the afternoon ~3 points between, so reduce the waiting time for tourists, Speeding up ticket sales speed is the problem that the computer ticketing system must solve. There are two factors affecting ticket speed, one is the printing speed of the hardware printer and the other is the speed at which the print program starts printing and transmitting data. After the actual test, EPSON stylus Color 850 color Inkjet printer, its printing speed of A4 paper 8 pages/minute, to meet the requirements.
