Using COUNTIF function to sort data in WPS

Rank functions are often used to sort data. But if we use the Kingsoft table in WPS Office 2003 to prioritize numbers, we'll find no rank function in this version of the Jinshan table.

So, in the absence of a rank function, how do you order numbers? In fact, we can use the COUNTIF function to accomplish this task.

Suppose the number sequence is in cell h2:h20. The numbers rank in the I2:i20 cell. Then click the I2 cell and enter the following formula: "=countif ($G $ $G $," > "&g2) +1" (excluding the outer double quotes). The rank of H2 cell data in the series can be obtained after the carriage return. Click the I2 cell, and then drag its fill handle down to copy the formula to the I20 cell, and all the number rankings are available, and the effect is exactly the same as using the Rank function, as shown in Figure 1.
