Using Photoshop CS5 content recognition to remove unwanted characters from the screen

With the update of Adobe's new series of design packages, we have a long-awaited photoshop CS5. A variety of new features make our workflow faster. A new feature that we're going to learn and use today is called content recognition (aware). This feature allows us to quickly populate a selection, and the pixels used to populate the selection are obtained by perceiving the contents around the selection, making the fill result look as if it were true. In the following example we will remove a person from the photo, the removal process will not take more than 5 minutes, then we will also enhance the effect of the image, it takes about 10 minutes to complete the total.

Next, we're going to remove the man on the left, using the new features in Photoshop CS5-content recognition.

First step

Using Content-recognition fills in different images can result in different results. An image, like the sky, that appears as a gradient background, such as this one in an example, requires some skill to handle. Needless to say, we open the picture we just downloaded in Photoshop.

Second Step

We're going to extract the people on the left from the image. Use the pen tool "P" to draw the character selection through the anchor point path. When it comes to pen tools, we all think about digging, it's a headache, right? Here's the good news, we don't need to make a precise selection when using Content-aware padding. In fact, it's not good to be accurate.

Take a look at the figure below, the distance between the path we draw and the selection of the object. Try to keep this distance at all times while drawing. If it's too close, the last fill will be called to the pixel that needs to be removed. Of course too far is not good, maybe the next to the MM to fill in.
