Using Photoshop to make Web content box shadow effect

The specific steps to create are as follows:

One, create a new document, 640 pixel wide, 480 pixel high, white background. Next, create a new layer, fill it with #e2e2e2, rename it to BG, right-click the BG layer in the Layers panel, and select Convert to Smart object. Then apply the filter > Noise (Noise) > Add noise (Add noise) command to the layer. The parameters are set as shown in the following illustration:

Second, create a new layer, named "box", select the Rectangle tool (U), draw a 500-pixel-wide, 120-pixel high rectangle, color selection white (#ffffff). Then apply the following layer style, where the stroke color selects #f2f2f2.

The final effect is shown below:

Third, create a new layer, named "Shadow-right", select the Rectangle tool (U), draw a width of 200 pixels, high 50 pixel rectangle, color black (#000000). In the Layers panel, select both the box layer and the Shadow-right layer, and then select the Move tool, using the "bottom alignment (Align bottom edges)" and "right Side align" buttons in the tool's property bar, Place the shadow layer in the lower-right corner of the content box layer. As shown in the following illustration:

Then select the vector mask thumbnail of the "shadow-right" layer in the Layers panel, as shown in the following figure:

Select the direct Selection tool, click in the lower-right corner of the shadow-right layer, where the anchor points of the layer are displayed, click on the anchor point in the lower-right corner, use the arrow keys on the keyboard, move it down by 7 pixels, and then select the anchor point in the upper right and lower right corner of the box. Also use the arrow keys to move the right edge of the rectangle 3 pixels to the left. Now select the Move tool to drag the "Shadows-right" layer below the "box" layer. The effect of the following figure:

Now in the Layers panel, right click on the "Shadow-right" layer, select Convert to Smart object, convert layer to smart object, and then select Filter > Blur on the menu bar (Blur) > Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) ", the parameters are as follows:

Then add a mask to this layer, as shown in the following figure:

Then select the Gradient tool (G), hold down SHIFT, and apply a shadow-right layer from black (#000000) to a transparent horizontal gradient, and then adjust the opacity of the layer to 30%. This completes the content box to the right shadow of the design, the final effect of the following figure:

Similarly, you can use the above method to make the left shadow effect.
