Using visual SourceSafe Administration for data backup

The visual SourceSafe administration makes it easy to back up the specified path by using the following methods:

1. Select Start/All programs on the VSS Server/microsoft Visual Sourcesafe/microsoft Visual SourceSafe administration;

2. After opening the vss2005, select the Archive/archive projects menu;

3. In archive Wizard The first step to select the items to back up, click the OK button;

4. In Archive Wizard The second step specifies the saved archive file, click the Next button;

5. In Archive Wizard The third step is to specify the version range of the backup, and you can also fill in the comments and click Finish to make a data backup.
