In
Oracle , only double quotes "surround the keyword." However, because the strings within the double quotation marks in Oracle are case-sensitive, regardless of whether you create a table or query, Oracle will convert the field name to all uppercase, so unless the name of the field in double quotes is all uppercase in the table, the SQL statement must have double quotes when you query later. If not, the field name will be turned to uppercase in Oracle to prompt for "invalid identifier". Similarly, query normal fields can be queried by double quotation marks, but the field names within double quotes must be all uppercase, such as the Select "Any_field_name" from TableName can be used in square brackets [] or double quotes in
SQL Server Surround keywords. Field names are not case-sensitive in any case. Use ' (backticks) to enclose the table and the name of the column in
MySQL . Field names are also case-insensitive. In
Hibernate , you must enclose the field name with Backticks (') when defining the mapping relationship, referring here or here.
