While debugging through the ADB shell is convenient, there are times when you have to use a serial port for debugging, such as testing suspend to ram, the ADB service is turned off.
In the minicom, you can also enter the shell to operate.
First step : If Minicom is not installed, install minicom serial port software:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install minicom |
The second step : Check the serial device, enter "Ls/dev/tty", quickly double-click the "tab" key. You can view the USB to serial port device ttyUSB0.
Step three : Set the serial port parameters, select "Serial Port Setup", set the serial device "/DEV/TTYUSB0", set the baud rate, data bit, parity bit and stop bit: 115200 N81.
sudo minicom–s
Fourth Step : Select "Save Setup as DFL" as the default setting, and then select "Exit" to exit the settings.
Fifth Step: If you need to save the screen content, open capture on/off.
Sixth step: Save the file in ~/minicom.cap, you can use Gedit to open the browsing.
