Using PS to synthesize a splash effect sexy girl

Source: Internet

In this PS tutorial, Mike Sloan, a graphic designer from Gothenburg, Sweden, will show you how he made a "shining splash" creative design. He combines a picture of a girl with a splash of milk and a wonderful combination of light effects.

Step 1

Make a mask of pictures of girls.

Click on the button in the circle so that you get a white square (ie, a mask-translator) in the photo layer. Then, use the Black Pen tool or brush tool to erase the background. (Make sure you're working on the white square, not on the photo itself.) )

Step 2

Perform image > Adjust > Hue/saturation, drag the middle anchor point to the gray area to make the model grayscale. Another simpler approach is to hold down the CMD+SHIFT+U (the CTRL key in the PC is usually the same as the CMD key usage in the Mac).

Create a new blank layer and place it at the bottom. Perform layers on it > new fill coating > Solid Color (White--translator note).

Adjust the size of the model photos.

By adjusting, I narrowed the picture slightly to make it more suitable for the work. The shortcut key for sizing is cmd+t. (In a resized state, you might want to try holding down SHIFT, CTRL, or CMD keys occasionally, which can have different effects.) )

Step 3

Copy layers.

Perform layer > Copy layer (model layer), or press CMD+J. Then execute layers > Create clipping masks. Now, the top layer should have a small arrow pointing to the layer below.

Step 4

Handle the top layer. Perform image > Adjustment > Shadow/Highlight. Click the marquee "Show more options," and then change the shadow number to 100, adjusting the midtones to 100.

Step 5

Filters > Blur > Gaussian blur with a radius value of about 3.0. Then change the blending mode from normal to bright. The opacity marquee is immediately next to the blending mode, ensuring that its value is 70%.

In addition, in this clipping mask layer, the face is covered with a mask to make the face less blurred.

If all of your steps are correct, it will look like this picture below.

Step 6

Copy the model layer at the bottom and place it at the top, and then set it to a clipping mask.

Then, perform image > Adjustment > Shadow/Highlight on the top layer. Refer to the following diagram parameters and finally perform blending mode > lighten.

Step 7

Copy the top layer. This time, just use the model's right hand and cover the other parts. Then perform the image > Adjustment > Curve. If the adjusted appearance is not as white as you want, then change the blending mode to bright.

Copy this right hand layer. Select the two right hand layers and merge them by performing layers > Merge layers.

Set this layer as a clipping mask.

Step 8

Set the background to black.

Double-click the layer, select the color overlay, double-click the Red Square, and select Black.

Now start making splash effects.

Open your splash picture in another window, and then perform the selection > Color range. After you get the selection you want, click OK. In many cases, this constituency will select something that you do not want, and then execute the selection > reverse it always. Now drag the splash picture into the window where we work.

Convert the picture to grayscale by performing Cmd+shift+u. Repeat step 7 to make it whiter.

Step 9

Discard the eraser tool and stick with the mask.

Use a mask to correct the splash so that it matches the model's boots. In addition, this layer should be placed at the top and not in the model's clipping mask.

Then, according to their own wishes, with a splash brush in the surrounding smear. Use different transparency in different places to achieve a good light feeling after mixing. In addition, you can also add some other special brushes. Note that these actions are made in a mask.

Remember: The two model layers should always be on top, and so far the rest of the stuff we put in should be on the bottom.

Step 10

Now we're going to add some spatter. Place a new splash picture, or copy the previous one.

Step 11

Use a splash brush to add different colors to different layers.
