From yesterday to today to get a long time to landing the VNC viewer is not successful, this afternoon finally succeeded. Now put my experience, for everyone's reference.
I am using the putty and Ssl/ssh Vnc Viewer. Because just into the pit, also hope that small white can less detours, so this paste is relatively thin.
First of all, the difference between VNC server and VNC Viewer: Server for the server, is controlled by the remote host, (this article does not specifically describe how to use the server), and the viewer for the client, is your PC, This article will show you how to log into a remote host via the viewer.
1. Installing Putty and VNC
I was under Ubuntu software to search for "putty" and "VNC viewer" installed.
2. When the installation is complete, the navigation bar will add the icons for both software. Click Putty. Enter the host address (the IP address of the remote host) in host name and press "OPEN"
3. A small black box will appear, follow the prompts to enter the account password (because of the privacy, so step not PO map, please understand, then, enter "Vncserver", get the port number, such as 12.
4. Click on the VNC Viewer to open the "VNC host:display" input statement "[Email Protected]:12", where "name" is the login account of the previous step, after the @ is the host address, ":" After the port number to pay attention to what platform (SSL or SSH). Then connect will be able to get in.
It is important to note that you should never select "Full Screen" in the "Options"and stumble over me for an afternoon!!! After selecting full screen, it is difficult to exit VNC at the terminal or elsewhere. Finally I force shutdown also not, according to a variety of shortcut keys or combination also not, then decided to unplug the power cord, thinking that it ran out of electricity can automatically shut down ... At last, the edge of the ctrl+alt+ to press any F-key, Faith beat a beat mentality (very hurt machine ah ah ah ah ah, distressed), finally, out of a terminal interface, happy.
