Using the MySQL client login ensemble database query for related information

Ensemble public MySQL Database

For large amounts of data and more detailed analysis, ensemble MySQL server ensembldb.ensembl.org,useastdb.ensembl.org or asiadb.ensembl.org can be accessed anonymously. The third server martdb.ensembl.org provides public access to the Biomart database. If you are interested in the data assembled by the human body GRCh37, you can only get it on the ensembldb.ensembl.org (see connection details below).

There are two options for retrieving data from the ENSEMBL database:

MySQL Client

Using the MySQL client to log in to the ENSEMBL database requires knowledge of the complex database schemas used. Also note that the database MySQL query does not support the retrieval sequence; To retrieve a sequence, use the Perl API.
