Environment
VMware 7.1 + RedHat Linux9 + vncviewer
Summary
1. Install vncserver in Linux. I will not repeat it here because it is already available on my host. For details, refer to this article;
2. Prepare vncviewer and click here to download it;
3. start vncserver in Linux, enter vncserver: 2 in the terminal, and set the password for the Remote Access session (2 is the session number. Note that there is a space before the colon, and I didn't set the session number at first, see );

Plaincopy
- Service vncserver start
- Service vncserver stop
- Service vncserver restart
- Vncserver: 2
4. Open the vncviewer downloaded in step 2 and enter the IP address. Note that you must bring the session number and click Connect to connect;
5. After successful access, you can save the current Session. Next time, you only need to open the file to access the session. For example, 192.168.223.100-5902.vnc;
6. This is similar to the Remote Desktop Connection in windows.
7. We can do this: Putty can be used for terminals at ordinary times, and the vncviewer described in this article can be used for graphic interfaces related to Linux. SSH can be used for access by multiple users on the local machine.
