Using Word2007 to draw complex tables manually

Step 1, click where you want to draw the table.

Step 2, on the Insert tab, in the Table group, click Table.

Step 3, click Draw Table.

The pointer changes to a pencil shape.

Step 4, to define the outer bounds of the table, draw a rectangle.

Step 5, draw the column and line lines within the rectangle.

Step 6, to erase a line or multiple lines, on the Design tab of the Table tool, in the Draw Borders Group, click Erase.

Step 7, click the line you want to erase. When you are finished, click Draw Table to continue drawing the table.

Step 8, after you finish drawing the table, click inside the cell, and start typing or inserting the graphic.
