V-5-1 Vmware VDI Environment installation Horizon View Composer

The components of Vmware horizon are used to build a virtual desktop environment.

The following are prerequisites for installing a VDI environment:

AD Domain Services: Installation of the W-5-1 domain server

Installation of the vcenter:v-4 vcenter

Horizon Environment

Click on the service name above to view the corresponding installation method

Install Horizon View Composer

1. Add domain.

Composer can be installed with vcenter, you can also install a single server, if it is a separate server also need to add domain.

2. Configure ODBC

Composer requires a database, you should be ready to add a System DSN before installing the program, and the add process is similar to vcenter Add.

3. Installing composer

Double-click to open the Setup program

Add ODBC , and enter the password for the database.

To set the port, it is recommended that the port be used in the post-Setup, so be sure to remember.

The system restart will be required after the installation is complete.
