The following VBA code allows you to control the range of mouse activity, that is, the range in which the mouse can operate. Where to operate, where can not operate, can be controlled.
The code is as follows, annotated.
With the ActiveSheet ' with statement, executing a series of statements on a single object
. Unprotect ' Remove password-protected sheet protection
. cells.locked = False ' unlocks ' all cells in the active worksheet
. Range ("f1:j99"). Locked = True ' locks only [f1:j99] Area
. EnableSelection = xlUnlockedCells ' allows only cells to be selected that are not effectively locked
. Protect ' Worksheet protection (password not set)
End with ' with ' statement
The above code is used in the Code window. The [f1:j99] area cannot use the mouse.
