Log function

Returns the natural logarithm of a numeric value.

Log(number)

The number parameter is a valid numeric expression of any greater than 0.

Description

The natural logarithm is the logarithm of the base e . The value of constant e is about 2.718282.

By using the natural logarithm of n , we can get the logarithm of x at the base of N , except for the natural logarithm of x . As shown below:

Logn(x) = Log(x) / Log(n)

The following example is a custom Function procedure that evaluates to a 10-based logarithm:
