VC and SQL2000 Background connection 2

XP environment, SQL Personal Edition, ID: SA password: SA

In a dialog-based project, there may be many dialogs. For example, if the project name is ADO, the project's public class ADO. add the following variables in CPP, because other dialogs may also use links to Data.

_ Connectionptr m_pconnection;

_ Recordsetptr m_precordset;

Link Method:

1. m_pconnection-> open ("driver = {SQL Server}; user id = sa; Password = sa; server = (local); database = data1 ","","", admodeunknown); feasible

M_pconnection-> open (strconnect, "", "", admodeunknown );

3. _ bstr_t strconnect = "provider = sqloledb.1; persist Security info = false; user id = sa; Password = sa; initial catalog = jxims; Data Source = (local )";

M_pconnection-> open (strconnect, "", "", admodeunknown );

 

But the data source = (local) of 2 and 3 cannot be changed to Data Source = localhost; it is local on my computer.
