VC2010 compile-time hint: failure during transition to COFF: invalid or corrupt file

Sometimes the new installation of VS2010 after the compile to prompt the above error, a list of several solutions found from the Internet:

Scenario 1:
Click "Project"-"Properties"-"Inventory Tool"
Then select "Input and Output"--"embed the list" and change the back "yes" to "no".

Scenario 2:
In the VS install directory search Cvtres.exe
Found there are two cvtres.exe files, some users choose to use the latest files to cover all the old Cvtres.exe, there are users are deleted old Cvtres.exe files. I changed the name of the old Cvtres.exe to restore the environment. Note that these two files are a version number, but the generation time is only 1 hours apart, select the latest one. There are a lot of cvtres.exe, this is not clear, try how to delete these files. My two files directory is as follows:
D:\ProgramFiles (x86) \microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\vc\bin\amd64
D:\Program Files (x86) \microsoft VisualStudio 10.0\vc\bin

Scenario 3:
is to install the new VS2010 SP1, this method can also solve some of this problem.
The trouble is that the SP1 is still relatively large, messy things have to patch up.

I compare recommendation 2, can be directly in the "ProgramFiles (x86)" Directory "Cvtres.exe", under the C-disk search results too much.

The search operation is renamed "Cvtres.exe" under the "program Files (x86) \microsoft VisualStudio 10.0\vc\bin" directory.
