View all host IP and Mac in LAN under Linux

with Nmap Scan the local area network again, and then view ARP Cache tables to know what's in the local area IP corresponding to the mac up. nmap is powerful and can scan mac addresses and ports directly. After performing the scan, you can cat/proc/net/arp view the arp cache table.

make Ping Scan to print a host that responds to the scan:

$ NMAP-SP 192.168.1.0/24  


Lists only each host on the specified network and does not send any messages to the target host:

$ NMAP-SL 192.168.1.0/24  


probe open port for target host, you can specify a comma separated list of ports ( e.g. -ps, +, +) :

$ Nmap-ps 192.168.1.234  


Use UDP Ping Probe Host:

$ Nmap-pu 192.168.1.0/24  


The most Frequently used scan option ( SYN Scan , also known as a semi-open scan), it does not open a complete TCP connected, executed quickly:

$ Nmap-ss 192.168.1.0/24
