mysql> show databases;
Replace the currently used database,
mysql> use db_name;
Returns the names of all tables under the current database
Mysql> Show tables;
Or just use the following command
Mysql> show tables from db_name;
To view the table structure, use the following command
mysql> desc table name;
mysql> describe table name;
Mysql> Show columns from table name;
Mysql> Show create table table name;
Or
Mysql> Use Information_schema
Mysql> SELECT * from columns where table_name= ' table name ';
