View iOS Crash logs and ioscrashlogs
When an application crashes on the device, iOS records these error logs and creates a Crash Report ). The crash report contains the iOS version, date, exception type, stack trace, and other information.
① View the crash report in Xcode
When the application crashes during development, you can use Xcode Organizer to view the crash report. Follow these steps:
1. Open Organizer;
2. Select the "Devices" option (on the top of the page );
3. Select the device item in the left-side navigation pane;
4. Select "Device Logs" from "Devices ";
The list contains crash reports for all applications on the device.
② View the crash report in App Store
When an App is installed from the App Store, iOS submits the crash report to the Apple Server. You can download the report using iTunes Connect. Follow these steps:
1. log on to the iOS Dev Center;
2. Select iTunes Connect;
3. Select "Manage Your Applications ";
4. Select the application where you want to view the crash report;
5. select View Details Under the selected application icon"
6. Select the "Cransh Reports" link;
