View the number of times a Word document has been modified in the Word 2010 document window

Users can see how many times a Word document has been modified in the Word Document's Properties dialog box to see how the Word document was tracked. The steps to view the number of times a Word document has been modified in the Word 2010 document window are as follows:

Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, and click the file → info button. Click the Properties button in the Info panel, and then select the Advanced Properties option in the Open Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 2009121212.

In the 2nd step, in the Open Document Properties dialog box, switch to the Statistics tab. Users can view information such as modified, last saved, and tracked changes in the Statistics tab, as shown in Figure 2009121213.
