View Tomcat output logs in real time

Command: Tail

The end of the output file, showing the last ten lines by default

Corresponding Head command--Displays the header content of the file

Application:

Frequently used to dynamically monitor the growth of the tail content of a file (such as monitoring log file changes)

Parameters:

Tail-f file

Dynamic tracking of File growth

You must ensure that file files already exist when you execute the tail command

Interrupt:

Ctrl + C

Kill all tail directly in the new terminal window

Monitor Tomcat output logs in real time:

Tail-f/var/log/tomcat6/catalina.out
