How to view the version number of the Solaris operating system
I know the following three ways to Showrev, uname and view/etc/release.
(1) Command Showrev
Show machine, software revision, and patch revision information
(2) Command uname
The print name of current system. Parameter-a:P rints basic information currently available from the system.
(3) View/etc/release
The demo is as follows:
bash-3.00$ showrev hostname:sunv890 hostid:84b7fe80 release:5.10 Kernel architecture:sun4u Application architecture:s Parc Hardware Provider:sun_microsystems Domain:kernel version:sunos 5.10 generic_137111-08 bash-3.00$ uname-a SunOS su nv890 5.10 generic_137111-08 sun4u sparc sunw,sun-fire-v890 bash-3.00$ cat/etc/release Solaris 1/06 s10s_u1wos_19a SPA RC Copyright-Sun Microsystems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Use are subject to license terms. Assembled modified December bash-3.00$
The system can be seen on the Sun SPARC platform 5.10 System.
How to see if the Solaris system is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Using the ISAINFO-V command
If you are running in 32-bit mode, you have the following output:
32-bit SPARC Applications
If you are running in 64-bit mode, you have the following output:
64-bit SPARCV9 Applications
32-bit SPARC Applications
Attention:
Starting with SOLARIS10 support for AMD64 and EM64 (Intel) processors, commonly known as x64, can also be judged by the above command. SOLARIS10 x86 and x64 use the same installation package, that is, solaris_x86_ga_u2_ ....
bash-3.00$ Isainfo-b-v 64-bit sparcv9 applications Vis2 vis popc bash-3.00$
It is known from the top that the Solaris system is 64-bit.
Other:
Psrinfo-v View the status of the Cup
Mpstat can list the status of multiple CPU loads
prtconf | grep ' Memory ' can see how much memory is.
PRTDIAG-V Display System configuration information
