Virtual Machine Access

First method: Nat
1. The process of installing vmware workstation is needless to say. You can proceed with the next step. However, it should be noted that after the VMware Workstation software is installed, two more virtual NICS will be added to the local connection, one is VMware network adapter for vmnet1. the other is VMware network adapter for vmnet8. Note: make sure that the VMware network adapter for vmnet8 is started. This is the virtual network card used in Nat network mode. Note that you do not need to manually set the IP address of this Nic. Remember !!!
2. next, you can create a new virtual machine and install the operating system on the Virtual Machine. Note that you must select the NAT mode when selecting "network mode" for the virtual machine.
3. Install the operating system in the virtual machine, start the virtual system, and open the IE browser. If this is normal, the virtual machine will be able to access the Internet. Remember! You do not need to set any Nic In the virtual system.

Troubleshooting
If the VM still cannot access the Internet at this time, I suggest you check several places to make sure that several Nat services have been started. The procedure is as follows:
Start-set-control panel-management tools-Service
Make sure that the VMware DHCP service and VMWare NAT service are enabled. To enable DHCP service, first enable vmware1 or vmware8 on the NAT tab before enabling DHCP servives.
Find the VMware DHCP and Nat services, change them to manual, and start them.
However, please note that if the network type of your virtual machine is Nat, these two services are still required.
