Today, I would like to use a virtual machine to build an NTP server on Windows 2003, after the computer found last year installed Windows 2003, unfortunately found that the password unexpectedly forgotten, tried many times failed to login successfully, delete the reinstall but also some feel bad, because the above also deployed the mail, DNS, and other services. It seems only to consider how to crack the password, on the Internet to find relevant information, and finally entered the system.
Experimental environment
Virtual machine: VMware Workstation 8.0.0 build-471780
Operating system: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
Implementation steps
(1) Turn off the virtual electromechanical source.
(2) Open the Vm->settings on the toolbar, select Hard Disk, there is a utilities in the lower right corner of a drop-down bar, click on the Select Map.
(3) Remove the "Open file in read-only mode" Default selection, click "OK", the warning box will appear, direct point "yes".
(4) After entering the mapping disk, see the system disk in the virtual system. My map letter is z:, the SAM overlay Z:windowssystem32configsam under the copy Z:windowsrepair, and then close the z disk.
(5) Open the Vm->settings on the toolbar again, select Hard Disk, and select Disconnect in the Utilities Drop-down bar. Then turn on the power to enter the system login interface. At this time the system default account administrator, the password is empty. Enter the system smoothly after entering.
