Internet Configuration of Virtual Machine linux (Red Hat hat) in XP-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. For more information, see the following. Note: If the firewall is used properly, add "file and printer sharing" to the exception, and then open the Server, Computer Browser, and two services in the service.

VMware connections are based on me

I. Bridging: divide the three blocks.
1. Disable the management tools-VMware DHCP Service and VMware NAT Service in the Service.

2. Disconnect the ADSL connection, control panel-network connection-ADSL properties-advanced-select "Internet Connection Sharing", and select "Local Connection" from the drop-down list ". OK. Don't worry about the prompt. The system automatically sets "Local Connection" to 192.168.0.1, And the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0. Later, 192.168.0.1 will be the gateway address and DNS address in the virtual machine.

3. Connect to ADSL and dial up, start Linux, set it to Linux as DHCP To Get IP and DNS, or

Set IPaddress to 192.168.0.X (X is the number between 2)
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.268.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0, 1

Restart Linux or the network.

2. host-only, in fact, is not much different from the Bridge Connection. In the case of ADSL connection sharing, change "Local Connection" to "VMware Network Adapter VMnet1" and reconnect to ADSL.

3. The Nat mode is implemented in the following three steps:
1. Enable the management tools-VMware DHCP Service and VMware NAT Service in the Service

2. Cancel Internet Connection Sharing of ADSL connections.

3. Connect to ADSL and dial up, start Linux, set it to Linux as DHCP to obtain IP and DNS, and then restart Linux or restart the network.

You are a single-host domestic dialing environment, not a router or LAN environment. Internet Connection Sharing is the key to bridging. The tutorials you read are all in the LAN environment, but they are definitely not. I figured them out myself.
