From the perspective of whether the host operating system exists, the Hypervisor of a virtual machine can be divided into two types: native and resident architectures. The so-called native architecture means that the Hypervisor is directly installed on the hardware and does not rely on any operating system. The Hypervisor of a virtual machine needs to be installed in an installed operating system, which is regarded as a software or service.

The test tool uses PCMark 7 and PCMark 7 is a set of test kits for Comprehensive Performance Analysis of PC systems. PCMark 7 consists of seven different test processes and a total of 29 independent workloads, covering all aspects of daily PC applications such as storage, computing, image and video processing, network browsing, and games.
