We installed the operating system will have a SID, in order to simplify the installation, now most people will choose Ghost Clone installation, after the cloned system SID is the same, sometimes need to regain the SID
Previously WIN2003 had the tool NewSID to modify the SID, but WIN2008 the tool was not available, here's how WINDOWS2008 modifies the SID number.
The Sysprep tool is integrated in the WINDOWS2008 system and can be found as soon as it is searched under the C-drive, such as no unexpected path:

C:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe
after running this command will pop up a picture frame, System Cleanup action "Enter system new Experience (OOBE)", boot option "reboot" NOTE: Universal tick
when you are done, you can view the SID changes with a command
Start---run--cmd---whoami/user

phenomenon:
need to run NewSID to update the operating system SID, after running Newsid.exe and reboot, the system will be blue screen
Workaround:
due to changes in the SID mechanism, WIN2008 is no longer supported to update the system SID with Newsid.exe after SP2.
the correct approach is to:
after starting Windows2008 into the system, open the CMD window and enter the "C:\windows\system32\sysprep" directory before entering "Sysprep/generalize/oobe/reboot" to reconfigure the SID.
