By default, Ubuntu is not connected to the Internet. As a result, the basic library software cannot be updated, and tools such as putty and FileZilla cannot connect to Ubuntu.

1. First, set the network of the host machine

 

Set VMnet8

Set local connection and virtual network VMnet8 sharing

 

2. The installed Virtual Machine network is changed to the NAT mode. Go to the Ubuntu system to view the network card name, and then adjust the network configuration.

View Nic name: ifconfig

 

There is a problem with the default vi Editor, such as turning it to ABCD from top to bottom, which will be solved below. So temporarily use the gedit command to adjust the network configuration,

Set DNS,

 

Restart NETWORK SERVICE

Test whether the Network is available
