Believe that playing the server/vps to CentOS must be not unfamiliar, CentOS is a red Hat Linux based on the free use of the source code of the enterprise-level Linux distribution. Because it is free, many Web servers and VPS now often use this system.
This time I use a virtual machine to demonstrate the installation. Here I use the VirtualBox virtual machine (hereinafter referred to as VBox, version number 4.3.10 r92957), more suitable for beginners, but for testing, VBox fully enough.
1, first download the VBox and install (this should not have I said anything more)

2, open VBox, and create CentOS 6.5 64-bit environment.
A new virtual machine environment, because the VBox environment does not have the CentOS option, so you can choose Red Hat Linux (64Bit)
b Dynamic allocation of hard disk size so you can choose a larger disk space (no words will not occupy, but C disk performance is not fixed good)
c) can be a simple configuration, select Centos_64, click Settings.
3, download CentOS 6.5 system

4, start the virtual machine, image selection just download CentOS.
5, after starting to see the CentOS6.5 installation interface, here I choose the 2nd install system with the basic video driver installation
Install or upgrade an existing system to install or upgrade existing systems
Basic graphics drivers for install system with basic video driver during installation
Rescue installed system to enter Systems Repair mode
Boot from local drive exit install boot from hard drive
6, Disc Found, choose Skip (Skip)
7, welcome information, click OK
8, Language choice Chinese. ( the previous version of the choice of Chinese will have garbled situation occurs)
9, keyboard settings Select US
10, error warning, do not go to the tube, direct selection re-initialize
11, Time zone Select Asia/shanghai (UTC time)
12, Password settings (root password settings interface)
13, weak password reminder, continue to choose use anyway (I set the password is weaker, so there is this hint)
14, Partition type partitioning type select OK
15, write changes to disk , and then is waiting for CentOS installation.
16, installation complete, need to restart, click Reboot
This installation has been completed because the server or VPS is being emulated, so there is no desktop component installed.
