Select VDI (VirtualBox disk image):

Select a fixed size:

Virtual hard disk size first to 8 g, you need to note that this is the best way to modify the path, otherwise the default will be to create a virtual hard disk in C, of course, if your system disk large enough to ignore:

We created the virtual hard disk in the VirtualBox VMS directory on the F disk:

Click Create, and finally wait for the creation to succeed:

When you are done, you can see the virtual hard disk files in the F disk directory:

Then click System on the left menu in the Settings panel, and on the Motherboard tab, you can see the startup Order option to move the CD drive to the first, as shown in the following figure:

The next step is to add an ISO image file for the prepared Linux CentOS 7 to the virtual CD drive, with no mirrored files to download in my CSDN: CentOS 7 iso file download address, file size 4.01GB:

After you have prepared the mirrored file, you can load the mirrored file into the optical drive, the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager's Settings menu, click "Save", you can see that there is no disc, click on the small icon will pop-up prompts window, and then click "Select Disk" to find CentOS 7 of the ISO file can be completed after loading:

Not without the command line, but to build a more convenient operating environment, such as Gnome's own Firefox browser, you can more easily test the network, in the actual use of our more of course, through the Xshell to connect the Linux server with the command line to operate, But we have installed a number of GNOME also a number of options and convenience, this is only, of course, if the formal production environment is another matter, select Gnome and click "Finish":

The configuration before this installation is finished, and then the installation is officially started, click the "Start Install" button on the lower left to perform the installation:

As shown above, the installation started at this time, according to the prompts we have not set the root user password, and did not create any users, then we set the root user password, set up and then click "Finish":

By the way, create a user, enter the username password and click "Finish", it should be noted that the root user is always the highest privilege users, the user created by themselves need to do more in terms of permissions:

And then quietly waiting for the installation to complete:

After the installation is successful, you will be prompted to reboot and click "Reboot" to end the installation:

When the reboot is complete, the login page is entered and the user created by default is displayed:
