viso2010 exporting ER diagrams from MySQL

MySQL connector:http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html

First the machine will install the MYSQL-CONNECTOR-ODBC plugin, which will enable Viso to recognize the ODBC driver for MySQL, 1. Open Viso

Select "Software and Database" and select "Database Model Diagram" and click "OK" 2. Go to Page

Select database, reverse engineer, which pops up the popup 3. There is a "MySQL" option in the data source, this option will not appear the first time you open it, you need to click New (I have built it here)

4. Click "User data source (for current machine only)" Click Next

5. Click MySQL driver, then click Next

6. Click Finish

7. Fill in the basic information 8. Click "OK"

9. Enter your user name and password

10. Click Next

11. Click Next (I only select the primary key in the table)

12. Click the Select All button and click Next

13. Click Next

14. Click Finish

15. See it. The ER diagram can be displayed.
