1. Run the following command in the command Prompt line window of administrator rights:

REG ADD "Hklmsystemcurrentcontrolsetservicescscparameters"/V migrationparameters/t reg_dword/d 1/f

2. Use the local administrator account to run the following command: (replace the partition letter with the actual situation)

C:windowssystem32migwizmigwiz.exe

3. In the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard, select the following options in turn:

(1), click to start a new transmission.

(2), click My old computer.

(3), click to use CD, DVD, or other removable media.

(4), click an external hard disk or network location.

(5), enter the location where you want Savedata.mig to be saved, and then click Next.

(6), click Advanced Options.

(7), on the Select the user account, files, and Settings page to be routed, do the following:

I. Select all selected check boxes.

Ii. under System and program settings (all users) options, expand Windows Settings, expand the network and the Internet, and then select Offline Files.

Iii. Repeat this action for each user listed on this page.

(8), click Next to start the transmission.

4. Under the Hklmsystemcurrentcontrolsetservicescscparameters key of the registry, create a new string value named CacheLocation, and set its value to the NT format name that you want the cached save location to correspond to ( NT format name). For example, if you want the cache to be stored in the D:CSC directory, enter it. D:CSC.

Create the D:CSC directory (or any other directory you specify).

5. Restart the computer and run the following command:

C:windowssystem32migwizmigwiz.exe, and then, in the wizard, do the following:

(1), click Continue the transmission in progress.

(2), click No, I have copied the files and settings to a CD, DVD, or other removable media.

(3), click on the external hard drive or network location.

(4), enter the path of the. mig file that was created in the previous third step.

(5), which corresponds to the user account one by one on the old computer and the new computer.

(6), click Next, and then click Transfer.

6, log off, login again, and then confirm that you can access the offline files correctly.

7, delete the old cache. Run the following command in the command Prompt line window of administrator rights:

TAKEOWN/R/F C:WINDOWSCSC

RD/S C:WINDOWSCSC
