Oracle has released tools for Visual Studio. NET 2003 to provide integrated support for creating. NET applications that access Oracle databases. features include an Oracle Explorer for visually browsing Oracle database schemas, drag-and-drop support for building DataAdapters and DataSets, and a PL/SQL Editor with context sensitive help.

The Oracle Explorer window not only allows browsing of existing Oracle objects but will also allow the developer to create tables using a table designer directly from within Visual Studio.
The PL/SQL Editor window provided des syntax highlighting, intelliisense, and error reporting via the Tasks pane. Also available is a Oracle Data Window for editing data within tables from within Visual Studio.
The tools are available free to members of Oracle's Technology Network.
It is much easier to develop Oracle-based applications.
