Visual Studio Community 2013, full-featured, free to use

Microsoft has just announced. NET platform, at the same time, it also launched a new version of the development platform from Visual Studio Professional, called Visual Studio Community (VSC2013). This version is now available for download, and in many common scenarios, this version is free for users.

The term "free" here means that individual users, non-profit users and non-enterprise organizations can use VSC2013 without any additional free of charge. Microsoft was able to launch VSC2013 quickly because it was essentially a tool of a different name, copied by VS2013 professional. This means that this tool provides users with more functionality than previously released versions of Visual Studio Express. Users of Microsoft's flagship product are not only able to develop applications for Windows platforms, but also apps for Android, iOS and unity.

As the Microsoft Onecode team said, VSC2013 can support plug-ins in Visual Studio Gallery, and the new version is clearly more useful than Visual Studio Express, which does not support extensibility. For enterprise applications, however, you can still continue to use the visual Studio Professional version.

Users can install VSC2013 directly from a common Web installation package, or download the full DVD ISO image, which already contains the contents of update 4.
