What is SVN?
SVN is a subversion and version control system.
Solves the problem of multiple versions when multiple users use document management. When SVN is not used, the document does not know which of the latest versions is edited by many people, and it is impossible for me to retrieve the previous version.
Therefore, SVN solves these problems. When multiple users edit a document, keep the version record and keep the latest version of the edited document.
SVN architecture: the C/S structure is divided into server and client.
Client: Use the famous tortoisesvn https://tortoisesvn.net /.
Server: We use visual SVN server https://www.visualsvn.com/
The following records how to back up SVN. I thought it would be wrong to download the server document through data synchronization.
The correct method should be:
Method 1:
Backup: svnadmin dump D: \ repositories \ ABC>D: \ abc1029.dump # ABC is the name of the created resource. # Svnadmin dump [Resource path]>[Backup Directory] restore: svnadmin load D: \ repositories \ ABC<D: \ abc1029.dump # svnadmin load [Resource path]<[Backup Directory]
Method 2:
Copy D: \ repositories \ ABC directly to the backup directory.
