Visualize Project manager SSL credentials (4) with XCA (X Certificate and Key Management)--signing certificate requests with the definition of their own credential Management Center (Certificate Authority)

With Xca (X Certificate and Key Management) Visual Project Manager SSL Certificate series articles (2) and (3). We learned how to generate a certificate with XCA (X Certificate and Key Management), how you have generated your own defined Credential Management Center (Certificate Authority). Assuming that the first two articles are foreshadowing, then this article is the last purpose: signing the certificate request with your own defined Credential Management Center (Certificate Authority). The process of signing is very simple, detailed steps. Please see the following actions.

(1) Click on the "Certificate Signing Requests" tab, select the certificate request you need to sign, in this example. I use the generated certificate request in (2) as a sample to explain.

(2) Select the certificate that needs to be signed and right click. In the pop-up menu, select "Sign"

(3) in the pop-up window. Click on the "Source" tab and in the Signing tab group, select "Use this Certificate for signing".

and select our own defined Credential Management Center (Certificate authority) that we created in the (3) article: CUSTOMCA.

(4) The other remains unchanged. Then click on "OK" button. Congratulations, with your own definition of Credential Management Center (Certificate Authority) Signing certificate request success!!!!

(6) in step (5), the Certificate Management Center (Certificate Authority) Signing certificate has been successfully requested, so how do you know how much of your current credential Management Center (Certificate Authority) signature is successful? Please click on the "Certificates" tab. On this page, we see how many certificate requests have been successfully signed by the current self-defined credential Management Center (Certificate Authority).
