VM-install VMware Tools Installation

2. Copy the Linux. So image file to the virtual machine under the VMware installation directory. I put it in home/CAC/Linux. so. Then mount it to/mnt/CDROM:

Enter the following command in the terminal: Mount/home/CAC/Linux. So/mnt/CDROM. If there is no CDROM in MNT/, create a mkdir CDROM manually.

3, cd mnt/cdromm will find similar VMwareTools-8.1.4-227600.tat.gz, UBUNTU version is not the same, VMware Tools is not the same. Copy to the temp folder: CP/mnt/CDROM/VMwareTools-8.1.4-227600.tat.gz/tmp, then unzip: Tar zxvf VMwareTools-8.1.4-227600.tat.gz and there will be a vmware-tools-distrib folder, which is the Toolkit we need to install.

4. After Entering vmware-tools-distrib, there will be a./vmware-install.pl script that runs directly in the terminal./sudo./vmware-install.pl

5. Check the installation path and other column information (in which directory do you want to install the binary files?

6. After completing the preceding steps, the reboot VM re-opens the window in the VM and automatically adapts to the current window.
